In June of 2010, Pegleg presented THE UNTITLED PROJECT, its first NYC-based production, as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Conceived by Calla Videt and devised by the Company, THE UNTITLED PROJECT explores the traumatic and violent events that occur when the lines between life, work, fact, and fiction are blurred.
A group of young artists are trying to make a play. When an idea takes hold, what results is a dangerous excursion into acts of superficial sacrifice. Someone stops sleeping. Someone stops eating. Someone stops speaking. Someone tries to say something important. For what? For art. For whom? For you. At whose expense? The silent one's.
